NCHO was founded by a group of friends who are interested to support needy children. We are not-profit organization that rises and save funds from member’s fees to provide programs and services to children and families, schools, orphanages, health centers and local clubs.
“Nepal Children Helping Organization” (NCHO) was established in 2006 March 10 and Registered in Friday, December 7, 2007 with Gov Reg. No: 830 to rehabilitate the children of Nepal by improving their living condition, with them, in link with their family to build stronger foundations for a better future. NCHO started supporting some of the economically poor children of the country, in an effort to improve their education and development at the grass roots level by awarding scholarships for primary and secondary schools and strengthening community organizational capabilities.
We also want to share with you information about the children and families. We serve our people, country, culture and tell you how you can help us with this work. A concentrated effort was made to help and develop the managerial and organizational capacity of local institutions, communities and individuals. Efforts were made to increase the number of community-based projects in some area of Nepal.
Since this Organisation is privately run, non-governmental, non-profit social organisation, we are not getting any regular support form the Government of Nepal. Till the date, we are running this Organization by the effort of NCHO Members. This organization is running different program and projects for the Help of the children but we are not getting the expected results due to the lack of fund. Right now we are carrying out various programs for the development of children such as
- Sponsorship program for the children for their education.
- Vocational and skillful training for the elder children to enable them to stand on their own feet in future such as computer training, mobile repairing, House wiring, Automobile, Agriculture, Health etc
- Health improvement program for the children. We are also trying to organize the health camp for the helpless and poor.
Due to the lack of sufficient fund, we could not run all these programs effectively. So we want to shake hands to any of the national and international organization and person for these entire programs in order to help the poor and helpless children. Any types of help and support of any amount form the donors for the children of this home are warmly welcomed. |
