Annapurna Sanctuary Trek
 

 

  • Day 1 : Arrive Kathmandu , meet your guide at airport, check into hotel, and review the gear you brought and discuss the next days events, walkabout Themal area for Dinner.
  • Day 2 : Fly or Bus to Pokhara, spend the rest of the day siteseeing on the lakeside and boaring on Phewa Lake .
  • Day 3 : Trek to Gorepani (9,350ft/2850m), walk through a rhodedendron forest. Stop at Pooh Hill.
  • Day 4 : Trek to Tadapani (8,260ft/2520m), Start early and trek to top of Poon Hill for fantastic view of the sunrise and Himalays. Return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue through rhododendron forest .
  • Day 5 : Trek to Sinuwa (7,570ft/2310m), day starts out downhill with views of the Modi valley. We follow the Modi Khola to Chhomrong at the base of Himal Chuli. Decend to Chhomrong Khola and enter Sinuwa.
  • Day 6 : Trek to Deurali (10,300ft/3150m), walk though a bamboo forest at the bottom of gorge. Have lunch at Tomo before entering the pantheon of Barash where we visit a temple.
  • Day 7 : To Annapurna Base Camp!! (13,410ft/4090m), Trek past the Machhapuchhare Base Camp. At this point we are surrounded by mountians are inside the Sanctuary.
  • Day 8 : Do day hikes around the Base Camp.
  • Day 9 : Trek to Chhomrong (6,920ft/2110m). Walk down to Gurjung Khola, have lunch in Ghandrunk home villiage of the Gurung ethnic group. Visit the Annapurn conservation office and explore the village.
  • Day 10 : Trek to Birethanti, Naya Pul and drive to Pokhara.
  • Day 11 : Bus or Fly back to Kathmandu .

Annapurna Sanctuary Pricing is $725 USD for a single person. Annapurna Sanctuary Pricing for two people sharing rooms is $1100 USD total for both people.

Included in the price:

  • Three nights hotel room with private bathroom in Kathmandu in Thamal
  • Roundtrip flight to Pokora and Jomson for you and your guide and porter
  • 8 Days for rooms in teahouses and meals on the trek
  • 2 Days sightseeing in Kathmandu

  • Food/Beverages in Kathmandu and Pokora
  • All beverages on trek (soda,water,alcohol)
  • Extra days on the trail are charged at $40 USD per day, this may be due to your choosing to extend your trek, or weather delay
Extra days in Kathmandu/Pokora are charged $30 USD per day, this may be due to weather delay in flying to/from Jomson
